The Playa Escondido is a beautiful hidden beach located within the Manuel Antonio National Park in Costa Rica. The national park is open every day from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm and the admission fee is $16 for adults and $5 for children. The official website is https://manuelantoniopark.com/.
To access Playa Escondido, visitors must first enter the national park and then hike a steep trail for about 20 minutes. The hike can be challenging, but the beach is worth the effort as it is secluded and surrounded by lush jungle.
In the surrounding area, visitors can also explore other beaches such as Playa Manuel Antonio and Playa Gemelas. The park also offers guided tours for wildlife watching and canopy tours.
The nearby town of Quepos also offers various activities such as sport fishing, zip-lining, and ATV tours.
